Salman Khan’s ‘Sikandar’ to begin filming on 18th June

Sajid Nadiadwala’s highly anticipated film ‘Sikandar’, featuring Salman Khan in the lead role, is set to commence filming on 18th June. Directed by A R Murugadoss, the film promises to kick off with a spectacular aerial action sequence in Mumbai.

A source revealed to Mid-Day, “In ‘Sikandar’, Salman portrays a character that requires a high level of physicality and combat skills. While he began his physical prep last month, focusing on agility and movement, Murugadoss utilised the time to rope in some of his favourite action choreographers. They have designed elaborate fight sequences that Salman needs to perfect over the next few weeks. This phase is critical not only for the actor but also for the entire stunt team to coordinate and ensure safety during filming.”

‘Sikandar’ is slated for an Eid release in 2025.
