Lyca Radio has bagged three nominations at the Asian Media Awards.
For the first time, Lyca Radio has walked away with three nominations including Radio Station Of The Year, Radio Presenter of the Year and Radio Show of the Year.
The station has been on an upward trend this year, since the appointment of Raj Baddhan as Lyca Media’s CEO. As well as relaunching Lyca Radio in May 2021, Baddhan has also launched the UK’s first and only retro Asian music station, Lyca Gold.
Raj Baddhan has been nominated for Radio Presenter of the Year for his ‘Drivetime’ show, while ‘Lyca Breakfast with Vallisa & Gillie’ has been recognised as Radio Show of the Year.
The lucrative awards ceremony, which takes place annually in Manchester, is the only event of its kind in the UK.
Asian Media Awards 2021 take place in Manchester on Friday 29th October 2021.
