SRK, Diljit Dosanjh, Priyanka Chopra Jonas & Kiara Advani shine at Met Gala 2025

Bollywood legend Shah Rukh Khan made a spectacular debut at the Met Gala 2025, accompanied by Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh and actress Kiara Advani. The trio was joined on the grand red carpet by celebrated designer Manish Malhotra and global icon Priyanka Chopra Jonas.

This year’s Met Gala theme, Superfine: Tailoring Black Style, was inspired by Monica L. Miller’s book Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity. The dress code, ‘Tailored for You’, marked the first Met Gala dedicated exclusively to menswear.

Shah Rukh Khan, often referred to as the King of Bollywood, turned heads with his striking ensemble, designed by Indian fashion maestro Sabyasachi. He donned an exquisite full-length black coat crafted from superfine Tasmanian wool, featuring monogrammed Japanese horn buttons, a sharp peak collar, wide lapels, and a sleek single-breasted silhouette.

Diljit Dosanjh, on the other hand, stole the spotlight with his ‘Maharaja of Punjab’ look, designed by Prabal Gurung. The singer and actor exuded royalty in a white ensemble, complete with a flowing cape adorned with Punjabi script. His statement-making royal necklace was embellished with rubies and emeralds, while his turban featured the same magnificent jewels. Adding to his regal presence, Dosanjh carried a traditional sword as he walked the blue carpet.

Kiara Advani, glowing with pregnancy radiance, made a stunning appearance, effortlessly winning hearts with her elegance. Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, a Met Gala regular, once again showcased her impeccable style.

The prestigious event took place at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, celebrating fashion, culture, and individuality on one of the world’s most renowned red carpets.
