‘Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya’ actor Anupam Shyam passes away

One of the television industry’s most iconic actors, Anupam Shyam has passed away in Mumbai from multiple organ failure.

Shyam, known for playing Thakur Sajjan Singh in ‘Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya’, also starred in popular shows like Doli Armaano Ki’ and films like ‘Lagaan’, The Real Hero’, ‘Dil Se’ and ‘Nayak’.

He was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of a Mumbai hospital for dialysis treatment.
