In Pictures: Celebrities celebrate Jaideep Singh’s birthday

Actor Jaideep Singh (currently seen in tv show ‘Shubh Shagun’ (Dangal TV) recently celebrated his 41st birthday amongst other celebrities. The actor says that this year was extra special because he was not able to do much last year due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Celebrities who attended were Krishna Mukherjee, Anuj Sachdeva, Jay Zaveri, Param Singh, Chetan Hansraj, Sameer Malhotra, Papiya Sengupta, Kajol Srivastava, Shekhar Gill and Kavi Shastri.

“The birthday plans this time was to have a lot of fun with everyone around and celebrate the birthday a little more freely because last time there were a lot of restrictions and we had to keep a lot of things in mind to keep everyone safe,” Jaideep Singh said.

Talking about what he wished for, he says, “My wishes and prayers are for my own self and the ones around me, in fact, for everyone. The world has been through so much that everybody is happy and everybody is busy, everybody is working, everybody is healthy, and that is what I wish for myself and everyone around me. This time, there was more focus on my well-being and a more disciplined lifestyle is my gift to myself this year.”

Ask him which are his fondest birthday memories, and he says, “The fondest memories from the past would definitely be my birthdays from my childhood days when we used to run back from school because of the birthday, come and change my school uniform, take a shower and get ready in new clothes which mom and dad would get and take a gift from my sister. Then my relatives and friends would come. I remember eating the simplest of things to eat; maybe samosa and ladoo and some mithais or maybe aloo Puri.”

Age is just a number, says the actor, adding, “That thought runs in the family because my Nanaji just turned 100 a month back. He’s fit and fine. Does things by himself and my mom is almost 75 again? She’s active and she does things which show that age is just a number and you can do so many things at whatever age you want.”
