Zakir Hussain’s upcoming web series ‘Gulkanda Tales’ is set to premiere on Prime Video before the end of the year.
The series, produced by D2R and helmed by the renowned director duo Raj and DK, boasts a star-studded cast that includes Kunal Kemmu, Abhishek Banerjee, Pankaj Tripathi, and Patralekhaa.
In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Hussain shared his enthusiasm for the project, highlighting its unique setting and storyline. “It’s a fantasy series set in ancient times, reminiscent of the Ajanta Ellora era. The characters and their looks are deeply rooted in that period,” he explained, hinting at the rich visual and narrative style that fans can expect.
Apart from ‘Gulkanda Tales’, Zakir Hussain is also involved in another eagerly awaited project, ‘Baby John’, an entertainer starring Varun Dhawan.
