Dharmatic Entertainment & Netflix deal called off?

It is well known that the digital arm of Dharma Productions, Dharmatic Entertainment, had struck a deal with OTT giant Netflix for multiple films and digi-series. However, it seems that deal has now been called off.

It was in 2019 that the two signed this deal but it seems that all was not well between the two companies. Box Office Worldwide report the deal remains for the current upcoming projects but after that, Dharmatic will probably be looking elsewhere and at the OTT market again to strike up a collaboration.

The projects outstanding range between a year and over a year in terms of completion so it remains to be seen what will happen for those in the medium term.
