Box Office: ‘Phone Bhoot’ & ‘Mili’ start off slow in India

This weekend has seen a number of releases hit the box office, with horror-comedy ‘Phone Bhoot’ being the biggest out of the lot.

Unfortunately, initial figures suggest that all the films have got off to a very slow start at the ticket window in India. Box Office India reports that ‘Phone Bhoot’ opened to a dull 5-10% response. It’s opening a little better than ‘Mili’ and ‘Double XL’ but numbers are significantly low for any comparison.

Punjabi film ‘Oye Makhna’ starring Ammy Virk has also released today.
