Box Office: ‘Jawan’ makes history with biggest ever opening

Shah Rukh Khan has once again rewritten history after his latest release ‘Jawan’ emerged as the biggest ever opener for a Hindi film in history.

According to early figures, the Atlee directorial, collected over Rs. 60 crore nett on day one, with suggestions that the first day could end up around the Rs. 65 crore nett mark. It has beaten the opening collections of Khan’s previous release ‘Pathaan’ by Rs. 9 crore nett. The Janmasthmi holiday has certainly propelled the business of the film.

‘Jawan’ is also seeing much success with its release in Tamil and Telugu. The film’s total business, along with Hindi could hit around Rs. 75 crore nett. Furthermore, the international business of ‘Jawan’ is expect to be extraordinary owing to Khan’s super stardom.
