Box Office: ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ heading for success

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s newly released ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ starring Alia Bhatt, is proving a success at the box office globally.

The film raked in around Rs. 10 crore nett, which is promising despite capacity restrictions at cinemas in India. Some of the mass markets for the film have proved better than Ranveer Singh’s ’83’, according to Box Office India.

With the way things stand, the film could see a growth of up to 30% on Saturday, which could garner another Rs. 12 crore nett on day two. The film’s fate will then depend on the weekday performance. All the signs currently indicate that the film will sustain.

Keep it with for more.
