Box Office: Disappointing start for Shahid Kapoor’s ‘Jersey’

Shahid Kapoor’s latest release ‘Jersey’ has opened up to disappointing figures.

According to Bollywood Hungama, the cricket drama could only muster in between Rs. 3.60 and 4.00 crores on its opening day. It was widely speculated that the film would open up with around Rs. 6 crores, however, the low numbers have sent shockwaves in the industry.

It remains to be seen how the film progresses over the next couple of days. The film could be pulled out of theatres if numbers remain this low.
