Box Office: ‘Carry On Jatta 3’ emerges as biggest ever Punjabi hit in India

The family comedy ‘Carry On Jatta 3’ has exceeded all expectations by emerging as the biggest ever hit in the history of Punjabi cinema across India.

Official data shows that the film grossed Rs.42.50 crores at the Indian box office since its release. It beat its predecessor ‘Carry on Jatta 2’, which could only manage Rs. 42.25 crores.

The Gippy Grewal and Sonam Bajwa starrer has performed exceptionally well but witnessed a drastic drop in business on Monday due to flash foods and heavy rain over the weekend.

The film nears $5 million in overseas business and will soon become the biggest Indian Punjabi film.
