Box Office: ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ opens better than ‘Maidaan’

‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ had a bigger opening than its rival ‘Maidaan’ at the India box office.

However, despite the Eid rush, both films opened less than expectations. Box Office India reports that ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ garnered Rs. 15 crore nett, compared to Rs. 5 crore nett for Boney Kapoor’s football drama ‘Maidaan’.

The coming weekend will be interesting to see how ‘Maidaan’ picks up as it is carrying very positive reviews.
