Box Office: Amitabh Bachchan’s ‘Jhund’ disappoints

Amitabh Bachchan’s latest release ‘Jhund’ has opened up to disappointing figures at the box office.

According to data, the film collected around Rs. 1.50 crore nett on Saturday – taking its two-day total to just Rs. 2.40 crore nett. The film performed better in Maharashtra but numbers still were small.

‘Jhund’ faced competition from ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’, which remains the first choice. The film has now hit the Rs. 80 crore nett mark. Hollywood flick ‘The Batman’ also did good business by collecting Rs. 14 crore nett on Friday and Saturday.
