Varun Dhawan has slammed trolls online for their outrage over a stage interaction with Gigi Hadid at the opening of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) in Mumbai
He was criticised for lifting supermodel Gigi Hadid in his arms and spinning her around on the stage. He then planted a kiss on her cheek before putting her down.
Responding to the trolls, Dhawan said, “I guess today you woke up and decided to be woke. So lemme burst ur bubble and tell u it was planned for her to be on stage so find a new Twitter cause to vent about rather then going out and doing something about things. Good morning.”
