Varun Dhawan on verge of signing Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘Made In India’?

Further to our earlier report in September last year, Varun Dhawan is now looking ever likely to sign Rajkumar Hirani’s upcoming film tentatively titled ‘Made In India’.

PeepingMoon reports that the film’s confirmation was delayed due to the Omicron situation in India. However, the film is expected to take off in the second half of this year. Dhawan will complete his outstanding projects first including Sajid Nadiadwala’s film with Nitesh Tiwari, and Sriram Raghavan’s Arun Kheterpal biopic. He is also said to have signed Raj & DK’s global thriller series ‘Citadel’.

The film will see the launch of Hirani’s Assistant Director, Karan Narvekar as a feature director. The film is written by Hirani and ‘Nil Battey Sannata’ fame Neeraj Singh.
