Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar are reportedly reuniting for a biopic on freedom fighter, Usha Mehta.
Reports say that the Ketan Mehta film will be produced on a large scale and will be his most important production. The report adds that art directors have undertaken a recce of South Mumbai, particularly Colaba and Fort, where the majority of the film will be shot.
The project will also highlight Mehta’s role in the establishment of the underground radio station in 1942 and her imprisonment at Yerwada Jail.
Pannu and Pednekar previously worked together in ‘Saand Ki Aankh’.
