Shah Rukh Khan on why he’s not keen on a sequel for ‘Jawan’

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan has revealed why he’s not keen on a sequel for the blockbuster ‘Jawan’.

In a special interaction with fans on his 58th birthday celebrations, Khan said, “It’s very easy for me to make ‘Jawan 2’. Main abhi Atlee ko call karunga aur hum banaa lenge. Usko kya bolte hai? Franchise film! (I can call Atlee right away and we can make ‘Jawan’ into a franchise). But I don’t want to do that. I want to make new kind of movies, and play new characters for all of you. A film like ‘Dunki‘ will speak volumes to you and entertain you so much! As a matter of fact, I do feel that it will entertain more than ‘Jawan‘ and ‘Pathaan.’”
