After weeks of speculation, Ranbir Kapoor has been officially confirmed to star in ‘Dhoom 4’.
The action-thriller, produced by Yash Raj Films, is set to go on floors at the end of 2025. According to Pinkvilla, ‘Dhoom 4’ has now entered the pre-production stage under the guidance of Aditya Chopra. A source revealed, “Dhoom is a franchise dear to Aditya Chopra, and he has decided to reboot it, aligning with current times. Like the previous films, the script of ‘Dhoom 4’ (Dhoom Reloaded) is being developed by Aditya Chopra with Vijay Krishna Acharya. The vision is to deliver a cinematic experience like never before.”
The source also confirmed that Ranbir Kapoor has been cast as the lead in ‘Dhoom 4’. “Discussions with Ranbir have been ongoing for quite some time. He always expressed interest after hearing the concept, and now he’s officially on board to lead the franchise. Adi Chopra believes RK is the perfect choice to carry forward the Dhoom legacy,” the source added.
