As per order pronounced by the Hon’ble Bombay High Court on 31st October 2023 in open court, Prerna Arora of ‘Rustom’ fame got acquittal in the case registered in 2018 . The dispute with Pooja films has mutually been settled and quashed by the Hon’ble Bombay High court with a fine of three lakh on her to be complied within days ordered by the Hon’ble court .
Prerna Arora says, “I’m utmost grateful to get justice and in all fairness. I’m indebted to honourable Bombay high court for giving the pride back to common person like me and for restoring faith in our system . All this while I kept silent as I had faith in system and supreme powers it sets an example for common people who are innocent and immature to fight in life and not give up. To win the battles.
A lot was said about this and I’d like to conclude that this is the “final verdict” above all said rumors.
At large, I’d request everyone to first know truth before making it a news headline and destroying someones life with their own agendas . I and my family went through a lot of pain and sufferings due to wrong reporting yet I chose to keep silent and stay in our dignity rather than clarifications as it was all baseless and twisted facts. There is a lot of difference in what is reported and what the truth is . I’m thankful to our legal system and my family.”
