Mukul Dev has passed away at the age of 54.

The actor, who made his debut in ‘Dastak’ opposite Sushmita Sen, went on to feature in films such as ‘Son Of Sardaar’, ‘R Rajkumar’, and ‘Jai Ho’.

While the cause of his death has not been disclosed, he passed away on Friday night.

Mukul Dev was last seen in the Hindi film ‘Anth The End’. He was the younger brother of actor Rahul Dev.

Sharing his grief, Vindu Dara Singh paid tribute on social media, writing, “Rest in peace, my brother #MukulDev! The time spent with you will always be cherished, and #SonOfSardaar2 will be your swansong, where you will spread joy and happiness to audiences and leave them in fits of laughter.”

Vindu later confirmed the news to India Today, stating, “After his parents’ passing, Mukul had become quite reserved. He rarely stepped out or socialised. His health deteriorated in recent days, and he was admitted to hospital. My condolences to his brother and everyone who knew and loved him. He was a wonderful person, and we will all miss him deeply.”
