Man held over death threats to Salman Khan & Zeeshan Siddique

A twenty-year-old man has been arrested in Noida over death threats to Bollywood actor Salman Khan and Zeeshan Siddique, MLA and son of politician late Baba Siddique, who was shot dead in Bandra, Mumbai on 12th October.

The man identified as Gufran Khan, has been taken into custody by Mumbai Police, who have shifted him on a transit remand.

According to police sources, Siddique’s office in Bandra received calls on Friday evening, threatening him and Khan of death unless they paid a ransom.

An employee of Siddique had promptly registered a police complaint and an FIR was filed.
