‘Kesari’ fame director Anurag Singh to helm ‘Border 2’?

Anurag Singh, the director of ‘Kesari’ will reportedly helm the much talked about ‘Border 2’, co-produced by Bhushan Kumar and JP Dutta.

Sources say the film is expected to star Sunny Deol. However, he has previously refuted the rumours. Ayushmann Khurrana is also said to be the latest name linked to the project.

A source told a publication, “Anurag Singh has made a big budget war drama in the period set up like Kesari. He also has a knack for making hard-hitting content like Punjab 1984. Seeing his talent to sensitively handle political scenarios and the ability to mount film on a certain scale, the makers are in advance talks to have him on board for Border 2.”
