Filmmaker Karan Johar will reportedly direct Shah Rukh Khan in an upcoming action-thriller.
The last time the two collaborated was in ‘My Name Is Khan’ (2010). They briefly worked together also in ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ when Khan made a cameo in the film.
The rumoured new project is expected to be a high-voltage thriller, similar to what was seen in ‘Pathaan’ and ‘Jawan’. Furthermore, Ranveer Singh is also being linked to the film.

A source told Zoom, “Karan has never directed a full-on action film before. He wants to make his first full-on action film with Shah Rukh Khan. The only problem is, how to generate the kind of action never seen before by his fans, Shah Rukh’s not Karan’s.”
