Karan Johar to acquire Hindi remake rights for Kannada film ‘Sapta Sagaradaache Ello’?

Karan Johar has reportedly approached makers of Kannada blockbuster ‘Sapta Sagaradaache Ello’ for the Hindi remake rights.

The film originally directed by Hemanth Rao, stars Rakshit Shetty and Rukmini Vasanth. It was released in two parts – Side A and Side B, in October and November 2023, with positive reviews from critics and audiences.

Previously, Johar has remade Marathi hit ‘Sairat’ and Tamil blockbuster ‘OK Kanmani’ but to lukewarm responses.
