Delhi High Court intervenes in ‘Jawan’ content being shared on Twitter

The Delhi High Court has made an intervention to stop content from Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film ‘Jawan’ being shared on Twitter.

In a rare move, the court has directed the social media platform to disclose basic subscriber information (BSI) of users who are allegedly sharing clips of ‘Jawan’ without authorization. The BSI includes e-mails, IP addresses, and phone numbers of the users who shared the content.

The film’s producer, Red Chillies Entertainment filed a lawsuit seeking to block unauthorized broadcasting of the film’s content and clips.
