Deepika Padukone has reportedly stepped away from Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s upcoming film ‘Spirit’ to take on a leading role in Atlee’s high-budget action extravaganza, starring opposite Allu Arjun.

Tentatively titled ‘AA22xA6’, the pan-India production marks Deepika’s return to Telugu cinema following the success of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’. The film is expected to feature her in a role befitting her star stature.

A trade insider revealed, “She was looking for a project that offered scale, vision, and star power. The Allu Arjun-Atlee film has all of that.”
