Box Office: Agastya Nanda’s ‘Ikkis’ to release in October

The Bollywood war biopic ‘Ikkis’, directed by Dinesh Vijan and produced by Maddock Films, is set to release in cinemas on 2nd October 2025, coinciding with Gandhi Jayanti.

The film tells the true story of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal, India’s youngest recipient of the Param Vir Chakra, the nation’s highest wartime gallantry award. At just 21 years old, Khetarpal tragically lost his life in the 1971 Indo-Pak war, making his sacrifice a poignant chapter in India’s military history.

With its Gandhi Jayanti release date confirmed, ‘Ikkis’ is set to clash with Rishab Shetty’s prequel to his acclaimed film, ‘Kantara – Chapter 1’, one of the most eagerly awaited Pan-India productions.
