Alia Bhatt to headline ‘Kalki’ director Nag Ashwin’s next?

Alia Bhatt has reportedly signed on for ‘Kalki’ director Nag Ashwin’s upcoming female-centric film.

According to Mid-Day, Bhatt has agreed to the project, marking her second major pan-India film following her role in SS Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’.

Though an official announcement is yet to be made, a source close to the production revealed that both Ashwin and Alia are thrilled about collaborating on this project. The source shared, “Ashwin has crafted a script with a strong female lead— a role that demands emotional intensity and depth, making it a perfect fit for Alia. While the storyline is still under wraps, the narrative will explore themes of personal resilience and empowerment set in a modern, unique backdrop.”
