Akshay Kumar’s ‘Welcome To The Jungle’ postponed?

Firoz A Nadiadwallah’s highly anticipated film ‘Welcome To The Jungle’ will reportedly not meet its initial release date of Christmas 2024 due to extensive pending work on the project.

According to sources at Hindustan Times, the makers of Ahmed Khan’s directorial venture are considering postponing the release date. A source close to the development shared that the film is being produced on a grand scale. The first schedule, described as a “lengthy shoot,” was completed last month in May in Aarey, Maharashtra, involving the entire star cast.

“However, this was just the first of several planned schedules. Additionally, significant VFX work will be required after principal photography concludes. Given these factors, a December 20 release seems unlikely,” the source disclosed.

The ambitious project, known for its elaborate sets and high production values, demands extensive post-production efforts, particularly in visual effects, to meet the filmmakers’ vision. The delay, although disappointing for eager fans, is seen as a necessary step to ensure the film’s quality and grandeur.
