Aamir Khan reveals son Junaid Khan being dyslexic

Aamir Khan has spoken candidly about his son, Junaid Khan, and his experience with dyslexia.

During a promotional event for ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’, Aamir revealed, “I’ve never spoken about this until today. Junaid is dyslexic. When I first heard the story of Taare Zameen Par (2007), it resonated deeply with me, because I’ve experienced it firsthand.”

He shared that Junaid initially struggled with reading and writing, and at times, Aamir even criticised his poor handwriting, unaware of his condition. However, upon learning about Junaid’s dyslexia, he offered his full support. The actor recalled, “I used to tell him, ‘Junaid, how can someone write so poorly? No one can even read this.’ When he would read, he’d say ‘from’ instead of ‘for.’ Eventually, we discovered he had dyslexia, and of course, we supported him through it.”

Junaid recently made his Bollywood debut with ‘Loveyapa’.
