Lyca Radio named exclusive radio partner of ‘Diwali On Trafalgar Square’

London’s popular Asian music station, Lyca Radio has been named the exclusive radio partner of the biggest annual Diwali event, organised by the Mayor of London, in association with the Diwali In London committee.

The event titled ‘Diwali On Trafalgar Square’ takes place on Saturday 23rd October between 16:00 and 22:00. There will be Vegetarian food vendors, light effects, rangoli competitions and spectacular variety performances on a big screen.

The Diwali in London comprises of several diverse member organisations with representatives from a cross-section of multicultural communities of India who work together in harmony to ensure the seamless running of Diwali On The Square.

Shivali Ruparelia, Diwali in London, Chairperson 2021 said, “As we emerge from our darkest days… we pay tribute but with triumph as we celebrate Diwali the Festival of Lights that will illuminate London and our souls again. We look forward to seeing you all at this year’s very special very different very colourful uplifting celebration at London’s iconic Trafalgar Square.”

Lyca Radio was also recently named as the radio partner of the Diwali In Luton event. It is worth adding that Lycamobile has been involved in Diwali On Trafalgar Square for many years previously.
