Rajkumar Gupta confirms plans for Ajay Devgn’s ‘Raid 3’
Following the recent box office triumph of ‘Raid 2’, director Rajkumar Gupta has confirmed that a third instalment in the franchise is in development, with Ajay Devgn set to reprise his role.
“I had written that scene just for fun, but it could well serve as the starting point for the next story,” Gupta said, referring to the now-viral ending in which Tauji (Saurabh Shukla) and Manohar Bhai (Riteish Deshmukh) shake hands before heading off to jail together.

Discussing the interplay between the two characters, Gupta added, “His parole is over. He’s back in jail. The other one is just entering. Let’s put them both in the same prison—let’s see where that takes us,” he teased, hinting that their shared incarceration could spark the narrative for ‘Raid 3’.
