Aaradhya Bachchan moves Delhi High Court over misleading information about her on Google

Aaradhya Bachchan moves Delhi High Court over misleading information about her on Google

Aaradhya Bachchan has approached the Delhi High Court, requesting that Google respond to her plea to remove false health claims without requiring input from unresponsive YouTube channels.

The case, filed by Aaradhya and her father, is set for a hearing on 17th March.

Previously, on 20th April 2023, the court issued an interim order preventing several YouTube channels from publishing misleading content about Aaradhya’s health. The court condemned the dissemination of such disinformation about a child, describing it as “morbid perversity.” Google was instructed to remove videos falsely claiming she was “critically ill” or “no more.”

The lawsuit alleges that certain YouTube videos contain “absolutely false” information regarding Aaradhya’s health and private life, harming the reputation of the Bachchan family.
