Raj Kundra arrested as alleged “key conspirator” in pornography case

Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra has reportedly been arrested in relation to a pornography case, BizAsiaLive.com has learnt. Kundra is thought to be the “key conspirator” in the case.

The Mumbai Police Commissioner, Hemant Nagrale, released a statement which read, according to E Times, “There was a case registered with Crime Branch Mumbai in February 2021 about the creation of pornographic films and publishing them through some Apps. We’ve arrested Mr Raj Kundra in this case on 19/7/21 as he appears to be the key conspirator of this”.

He went on to add, “We have sufficient evidence regarding this. The investigation is in progress”.

Kundra is thought to have spent the night in custody after being accused of cheating, indulging in the obscene act in public places and publicly exhibiting or circulating obscene books or literature and under the Information Technology Act.

Poonam Pandey had apparently filed a case against Kundra at the Bombay High Court.
